October Show and Tell

Welcome to Show and Tell for October.  Olive made a cute Holly Hobby quilt.

Diane used bits and pieces to make two sweet bassinet quilts to donate to the local Maternity Unit.

This is a community quilt to be donated and also uses up bits and pieces.  There's a reason why log cabin blocks are so timeless - they always look good!

And the back - using up more.  I love a classic nine patch too.

The club makes heart quilts for our members who need an extra shot of love......

Here's Darryl with a community quilt.  What a confection of pink!  Someone's going to love it.

Another community quilt, soft and sweet.

And one more, this is all ginghams.

And this is a quilt Darryl made for herself.  Another reminder that the simplest designs can be so effective.

This is Maebeth's black and white masterpiece.

If you can't see it, click on it to enlarge.  Maebeth is hand quilting circles in big stitches.

And a shot of the back.  That's an alphabet print in the middle - very cool!

We call Gayleen our crumb queen.  Some of the bits in this quilt are tiny!

Can you see how tiny they are?

Margaret with a community quilt from Kaitaia.

And here's a few shots of what people were working on during club day.  Gayleen's handwork.

Darryl's little purse - Shirley was doing a demonstration on how to make these.

Here's some flowery ones.

Ingrid is practicing her pebble free-motion quilting.

Whoops, one late show and tell.  This is Aida's bag.

And here's Aida's hand quilting that she was working on.

Hope you enjoyed the show.  See you next month!!
