Show and Tell - March 2015

Welcome to March's show and tell (only a little bit late....)

Donella showed off this quilt made to donate to the community - simple but effective.

She also showed us these two.  The smaller bassinet quilt is already on a cot at the local maternity unit and it was made with scraps from the larger one.  They are snuggly plaid flannel fabrics.

Carol is tall, so this is one long table runner!  Interesting curves and bright solids make it a bit different.

Diane made these two matching quilts with kiwiana fabrics.  Love the woven look.

Mathea was sending these two patriotic blocks off to her homeland, the US, to go into quilts of valour.

Ingrid has been hard at work making quilted napkin holders.  Useful for paper serviettes at the outdoor BBQ to stop them blowing away.

And here is why I always try and get a photo of the show and teller - I've forgotten who showed this rainbow bag!  Sorry!

Last but not least, Terri showed us this embellished journal cover.

It's already April so our next meeting is coming up fast - new members welcome.  Come along to Kingston House, Kerikeri on 28th April from 10am.
